Who Are We? We are the (only!) on-site property management in Government Camp, with a primary focus & experience with homes located at The Chalets & Grand Lodges at Collins Lake Resort®. Many of the owners have hired us to manage their home for rentals. We are set-up to act as your exclusive vacation planner because we have partnerships with many local recreation outfitters. In addition, we have an exclusive corporate affiliation with Mt. Hood Skibowl and can offer their products to our renters for a great discount. We also have partnerships with the area’s other ski areas for discount lift tickets.
Do you have rooms available? As a vacation rental management company, we are focused on managing some of the best full homes Government Camp has to offer. The Chalets we manage are perfect for a family or small group, with 3 stories and a private garage, they are sure to give your family or group plenty of space to not only cook a meal, but to manage your equipment for a ski camp. These townhome-style condominiums have 1248 square feet with a 2-car garage, 2 private bedrooms (on average), and 2.5 bathrooms, with some Chalets offer an additional den with sleeping arrangements. They have a full kitchen, dining room, living room, laundry, deck, and gas fireplace. You do not need to bring cookware or linens, as these homes are fully equipped with all of your basics: sheets, cookware, towels, serving ware, paper towels, toilet paper, gas-powered ranges, microwave, a standard drip-style coffee maker, a dishwasher, and a washer & dryer in the garage.
The newest addition to Collins Lake Resort® is the Grand Lodges. Built in 2008, these spacious condos offer a large living space of 1800-2300 square feet with a fully equipped gourmet kitchen, dining room, living room. Laundry, deck, and a gas fireplace in the living room as well as in the large Master Suite. In addition to the Master Suite, there is a Guest Bedroom, a Private Den or loft, and 2 - 3 Full Bathrooms. Parking is located in the secured under building garage. Like the Chalets, the Lodges come similarly fully equipped!
How much are your vacation rentals? Our rental rates fluctuate from season to season; therefore we have a range of starting rates. There are 2 Price Classes for our chalets: Deluxe and Premium. The Grand Lodges currently offer 3 Price Classes: Lakeside/Mountain View Suite, Penthouse Suite, and Master Suite. The starting rates are based on the occupancy of 6 adults. All pre-teens (12 years and younger) lodge for free and each additional adult (ages 13 and older) is $20 per night. All rents are assessed a 7% tax (6% county and 1% state) and every reservation is assessed a $95 Service Fee. There is an additional $25 Damage Waiver fee that is levied on all NON-ski team reservations and any reservation shorter than 10 nights - please find out more here.
What are the sleeping arrangements? Each property has unique sleeping arrangements depending on the preferences of the owner. The maximum occupancy for most of the condos is 10 guests. Depending on the condo there may be between 2-6 beds with 4-10 sleeping arrangements.
What is your minimum stay? All of our vacation homes have a minimum of two nights. Some of them occasionally allow for single night reservations, and some have longer nightly minimums; this information will be listed on the property information page if it applies. Some of the properties we manage allow for one-night stays, but can only be booked within 24 hours of arrival. During the December holidays, there is a 5-night minimum. MLK and President's weekends require a 3-night stay. Weekends in January, February, and July require a 2-night minimum stay. *Nightly minimums are subject to change
Where are you located? The Chalets at Collins Lake Resort® is located in Government Camp, Oregon in the shadow of Oregon’s highest peak, Mt. Hood. It is the heart of a recreation paradise within minutes of Mt Hood Skibowl, Mt. Hood Meadows, and Timberline ski areas. We are within quick walking distance of restaurants, shops and many of our properties have marvelous views of Camp Creek, Mt. Hood, The Multorpor Fen, and the slopes of Mt. Hood Skibowl. The Front Desk is located in the on-site Rental Office at Collins Lake Resort.
The Grand Lodges at Collins Lake Resort® is just west of the Collins Lake Resort Chalets and is within walking distance of everything Government Camp has to offer. Every unit in the North Lodge offers excellent waterfront views of Collins Lake and the slopes of Mt. Hood Skibowl.
The Chalet Front Desk is located in the onsite Rental Office for the Chalets at Collins Lake Resort. It is the very first unit and the address is 88149 E Creek Ridge Road, Government Camp, OR 97028.
